welcome

Stuart & Jasmine welcome you to their Victorian home in Snowdonia.

Situated in the heart of the village of Trefriw, near Betws-y-Coed, Crafnant House is the perfect location for your stay in North Wales.

Whether you want to walk, cycle or surf, visit castles, or simply rest, we are ideally located close to all the exciting attractions and experiences the Conwy Valley, Snowdonia and the coast has to offer.

For lunch and dinner Trefriw has two traditional pubs serving food (The Old Ship - next door! - and The Fairy Falls), a cosy brasserie (Chandlers), a restaurant (at The Princes Arms hotel) and cafe (Mary Bellas) - all just a short walk away. Other pubs and restaurants can be found in nearby Llanwrst and Betws-y-Coed.

Off-street car parking is available on site, along with bike storage, and our two guest lounges and large garden are places for you to relax.

breakfast

Breakfast is a very important part of your stay with us so it is always cooked to order using fresh local produce whenever possible. Sausage and bacon comes from our village butchers, coffee is roasted in nearby Llandudno by Heartland Coffi and our bread is homemade by Jasmine.

Our traditional cooked breakfast will set you up for your day in North Wales, and we also offer our popular ‘daily specials’ as an alternative if you fancy something different. These have recently included french toast, pancakes, frittatas, potato hash, fresh waffles (both savoury and sweet!), breakfast burritos and our ever popular roasted mushrooms on toast with a poached egg.

Equally we can prepare something lighter like eggs on toast or a bacon sandwich, and we always have fresh fruit, yoghurts, and cereals available.

Special diets can of course be catered for - just let us know in advance.
