North Wales is one of the most popular walking destinations in the UK!
On offer are mountain peaks, lush valleys, waterfalls, echoes of the area’s industrial past and views of the coast from high ground.
Many of the well known paths and routes - especially up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) itself - can become very busy.
So here are some less popular but no less rewarding alternative walks that we have enjoyed ourselves and recommend!

Another fantastic season at our B&B slowly draws to a close so it is time to reflect on another busy summer welcoming guests to our home and this beautiful corner of North Wales!
It has been especially wonderful having international travellers back, many coming to Wales after a 2-3 year delay (!) and wanting to enjoy every minute of their holiday here having finally made it!!!
Selfies were a popular request which is fab, and Stuart even made it out of the kitchen for them!
